"Nicos Weg" is a free online German language course produced by Deutsche Welle in cooperation with Germany's Federal Employment Agency. Deutsche Welle, shortened to DW, is a German public, state-owned international broadcaster. Their website has a section dedicated to providing free resources for German learners of all levels (CEFR A1 - C2) around the world. "Nicos Weg", their award-winning e-learning course, is equally suitable for complete beginners and more advanced learners. It is comprised of three courses (A1, A2 and B1) which follow the protagonist Nico Gonzalez’s adventures in Germany.

Κάθε μάθημα/επίπεδο έχει περίπου 2 ώρες υλικού βίντεο το οποίο χωρίζεται σε 76 σύντομα επεισόδια/μαθήματα (δίλεπτα βίντεο κλιπ) που καλύπτουν διάφορα θέματα και καθημερινές καταστάσεις. Σε κάθε επεισόδιο, υπάρχουν διαδραστικές ασκήσεις για εξάσκηση και βελτίωση των γλωσσικών δεξιοτήτων. Στο τέλος κάθε επιπέδου, μπορείτε να ελέγξετε τις γνώσεις σας με το τελικό τεστ και να λάβετε το πιστοποιητικό σας από την Deutsche Welle.

Nico is a Spanish young man who has just dropped out of university and wants to visit his aunt in Germany. On arriving in Germany, he immediately loses his bag and his aunt's address. Fortunately, some locals offer to help.
