"Nicos Weg" is a free online German language course produced by Deutsche Welle in cooperation with Germany's Federal Employment Agency. Deutsche Welle, shortened to DW, is a German public, state-owned international broadcaster. Their website has a section dedicated to providing free resources for German learners of all levels (CEFR A1 - C2) around the world. "Nicos Weg", their award-winning e-learning course, is equally suitable for complete beginners and more advanced learners. It is comprised of three courses (A1, A2 and B1) which follow the protagonist Nico Gonzalez’s adventures in Germany.

Chaque cours/niveau comprend environ 2 heures de matériel vidéo divisé en 76 courts épisodes/leçons (clips vidéo de deux minutes) couvrant divers sujets et situations de la vie quotidienne. Dans chaque épisode, il y a des exercices interactifs pour pratiquer et améliorer les compétences linguistiques. A la fin de chaque niveau, vous pouvez vérifier vos connaissances avec le test final et obtenir votre certificat de la Deutsche Welle.
